I put off reading King Me simply bc I get anxious when I start a new book, so I went back to Wilde Fire and re-listened to that one and just kept going forward with the series so I could slip into this one.
I've gotta tell you, I personally wasn't a fan. It's not a bad book. The good parts I enjoyed were the side characters, the laughing, Dirk, the Wilde family in general. A heist novel! Who doesn't love a great heist novel?
In a nutshell, an art thief and an FBI agent reluctantly team up to retrieve a stolen crown and return it to its rightful owners. Though this book is the 7th in a series, I jumped in here having never read the others and it was no problem. The novel stands alone just fine.
