It was good but I'm glad I read Huck Finn first because if I had read this one first I might not have wanted to read Huck Finn. I wonder if it had been better if it had been narrated in the first person like Huck Finn was? In any case, it was good and I enjoyed Tom Sawyer and his various adventures.

This is a second-time read for me and I loved it all over again. Mark Twain's writing is enchanting. I laughed along as Tom persuaded his friends that it was fun to whitewash the fence; which had been his punishment for skipping off school. No more spoilers read it if you have not done so already.
