I first read this in High School, and my memory of it was fuzzy and not too positive.

Figured I ought to re-read it, and since the power was out for a few days this week, I did just that.

It's much, much better than I remember it being. But, then, I was maybe 16 years old when I read it the first time. Obviously, the book would mean more to me now than it did then.
