I love the author but the book wasn’t a favorite. I just couldn’t connect with the heroine.
Mal, who I’m sure is a love interest, keeps giving me a slimy feeling with his pushy way of flirting. Oh and I disliked how he fat shamed the main character.

Thoughts on #1 - 4
Okay, this one starts off GREAT. I really like the main character and some of the guys. The other world with their jobs and such -- super cool. Really, this was shaping up to be fantastic. Then, we meet the werewolves and... yeah, no to all of that. I did not like how that plotline was going nor how that love interest was working out. No thank you. Such a shame.

Ok, but not worth the price
The story is ok, nothing new but decently written and entertaining enough for A couple of hours, but certainly not worth the price asked.
