猡� 3.5 stars, rounded down mostly for the abrupt and weirdly shallow ending.

I will say Wells has definitely improved as an author over the course of her last few books; the first book in this series left me fairly cold, but this one did keep me hooked until it suddenly petered out.

I was looking forward to this book sooooo much! I loved Run, Posy, Run. So, I think I might have over-hyped this too much in my mind because I felt underwhelmed. I kept wishing for more.
I love Nicky's obsession, but wish he had a personality besides Zita. I am conflicted about Zita and wish she had tried more to stand on her own. While I think they as a couple will be great, I never believed in them until the epilogue. I feel like if I write more I'll spoil too much.

Edit: after thinking about this book more, I鈥檓 still pretty angry I wasted my time on it. Moving rating down to 2-stars.

Original: Uhhh WTF did the author do to the last 12% of this book, the ending was super rushed and shoddy. This was a solid 4-stars book for me until it suddenly wasn鈥檛, almost couldn鈥檛 even give it 3-stars.

OK, for how obsessed he was with Zita, how fucked is it that even after knowing about her eating disorder Nicky still only stocks his pantry with the junk food she binges on ...more
