What’s the point of a romance if the main characters are already perfect for each other right from the start?
I feel like I wasted my time reading this book because neither of the characters grows or changes in the slightest. They meet, they’re in awe of each other, they have some steamy times…where’s the conflict? What’s the point?
I’ve liked other Prime Mating Agency installments but this one really fell flat for me.

Well this was a very adorable and interesting read. I say interesting because I love all the creative liberties the author took when creating the heroes species. I’ve read about similar-ish sci-fi heroes so I wasn’t completely thrown with all the rooting going on 🫣 but I really loved how him and his species are able to directly connect with the planet. Did you ever watch Torchwood? This is basically the premise of the Children of Men season, except instead of children imagine Groot. A little Avatar inspired too, with the whole mother tree and vining themselves in. Freaking phenomenal.
