Books 1 and 2 are a half-baked plot about a beautifully tortured virginal definitely-not-cussing novelty-pajama (but SEXY) wearing 18 year old girl everyone is jealous of or wants to stalk, rape, and/or murder. Things go from bad to worse to worser and people betray her and *yawn* I am more shocked by the following:

1) Sheer lack of foam rolling and stretching after her daily 3 hr runs (the runner in me can鈥檛 get over this no matter how hard I try)

I swear I just pick up these books and the next minute I'm finished. It's too easily to be pulled into this world and entirely absorbed by it.
Shi has the worst of luck and somehow the best of it at the same time. She really spirals in this book before finally pulling up her big girl superhero panties. She finally confronts her own emotions and while what happens in this book was rough, she's so much healthier for it. Relationships progress and threats abound. Loved every second of it. ...more

WELP, I am flabbergasted, tense, anxious, emotionally distraught, and have lady blue balls!! Book 2 had so many crazy plot twists in such a small span. I am going to be thinking about this story religiously until book 3 releases! It'll be Pack Darling all over again 馃槶.

I felt like Shiloh really showed herself to be such a great character! In book 1 she just seemed too strong and detached from her grief. Pretty soon into it, her nightmares start to undo her, and we see her hit a real low, but luck ...more
