(I'm still jumping around like crazy and running from one end of my house to another brimming with enthusiasm. THIS WAS AMAZING! Why didn't I care to read this before! Will write a proper review when I'm a little less nutty)=>initial response.

Snow Like Ashes is exactly the type of novel i would have loved in my early teens. My tastes, however, have changed over the years--I feel that I would have enjoyed this a great deal more if I'd read this when I was younger.
This book was entertaining. And also enjoyable. But by the near end it was becoming a bit predictable and a little tiresome.
The writing wasn't too bad and I particularly liked the way Raasch described the Seasons and the action scenes, but other than that it was ...more

That was sooo good!!' The main character is AMAZING, lots of war & fighting though. Also strongly reminded me of World War 2. (Holocaust wise) Love all of the plot twists & surprises.
