What Members Thought

This book was very good, but VERY long. I really did feel like I was reading it for about a year. Stephen King gets into many of the characters in great detail, it kind of reminded me of the Stanley Kubrick version of a book. A lot of great content, but not enough editing. There was just so much it was hard to keep everything straight. I kept feeling like I needed to keep a notebook to help me keep track. This was a re-read for me to prepare for the movie. I must say it has been a long time ago that I read this and remembered the important stuff. I was surprised on how much I didn't remember about the kids and the adult versions. I have watched the movie as well and was glad I had some idea of the book in my mind in watching it to know all the differences.
