I loved this book from the first time I read it in draft form (yes, I am the May who is in the acknowledgements) and every time I've read it since, I've only loved it more.
1. There's Ashera, who is a kick-ass protagonist.
2. There's the worldbuilding. And the dragons! I have a soft spot for anything with dragons, and Nadia's dragons live up to their fearsome reputations instead of being fluffy soft toys.

Very enjoyable urban fantasy with dragons and dragon-lords. Good world-building, magic and action made it a fast read. The romance between Ashera and Ramiel is of the built-over-the-whole series type typical of urban fantasy. I'll definitely be watching for book two to come out.
