This took me a long time to listen to. The narration was good, and parts of the book I quite enjoyed but overall it just didn't hold my attention as much as I hoped. It was told in a combination of past and present, the past was much more interesting though.

This book was great. Way out of the realm of what I normally read, but I sped through it at a relatively break neck speed compared to how quickly I make it through other stories. Described as the Titanic meets the Shining, I'd generally have to say that sums things up pretty well.

4? 4.5? 5? Stars. I don’t know how to rate this. Totally creeped me out. All the psychological trauma.
Holy moly! Once this book got started it was edge of my seat amazing ! I had a hard time putting it down. The main character got on my nerves a bit but not enough that I did not fall in love with the book. The vibe of this book reminded me a lot of the movie Event Horizon but 10 times better!
