**spoilers, so don't read this if you haven't read the whole series before**
I love the subtlety of this book after this the, what, third? fourth? reading. The first time was just a rush to the end, trying to see how it all worked out, the shock of the sudden happenings and apparent betrayals, etc. But this time through, of course knowing how the mysteries all play out in book seven, catching the beauty of what Rowling crafted is just wonderful. This ties with OOP as my favorite HP book. I see it as a beautiful reversal of the pattern set by GOF. Harry had to lean on Dumbledore there, but here, Dumbledore had to lean on him. What poetry! I cried my eyes out.
