The 1st book of Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Not like other ordinary diary, this book is a journal of Gregory Heffley, a middle school boy with ordinary life but brilliantly written. So hilarious and witty. I can't believe that I can smile and grunt almost at the same time just by reading this book.

This book surely made me want to read more book of this series.

I read this book for a book club challenge to read books that have been made into movies. Our family liked the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies, therefore, I decided to read the books. It is always interesting to see how a book differs from the movie version of the story. I also find Jeff Kinney's writing to be both humorous and in some ways thought provoking.

Wow! So I came across this book at Walmart, but of course, I had heard of it. This book is perfect for 12 year olds( like my nephews) and the of course love it. Even though I am a grown woman( a young adult) it was so funny and cute to me. I love Greg! I can definitely see how it's relatable and addicting for middle school kids.
