This is a fun read, at least for about half of the book until Matimeo actually leaves Venice, then I don't exactly know how to feel.
The first part of the book is delicious and fun, Matimeo's narrative is entertaining and his interactions with Vito is just giggle-worthy. The contrast and similarities between Matimeo's and Vito's characteristics are just very interesting, Matimeo is a very experienced lover, but Vito is all innocent and it's Matimeo's rather unwilling task to end that bit and it w ...more
