This is an interesting one. Gunner is an arrogant over confident user, whose self perception is touching sociopathic - he shouldn't be likeable.

Yet somehow...

He's surprisingly accepting of himself, skipping denial for adjusting to this new info.

Family events hit hard, and suggest there's a lot Gunner hadn't been facing growing up. An influence that could explain a lot.

By the end can't help liking this guy, wanting things to work out.

Three stars because it´s free read. It wasn´t bad but I din´t like Gunnar so much. He was better at the end.
