What Members Thought
One of my favorites. I had bypassed it many times due to the summary (which really didn't interest me). Finally, after seeing it frequently, I gave in and ended up staying up all night reading it. It made me laugh and cry, but mostly laugh. I've reread it many times; it never gets old.

More musings:
I was spot-reading and thinking of Muffin and how borderline reprehensible his character is, which led me to think of Intrigue at the Crown Jewel, and how the author tried to create a character that had archetypally negative characteristics that generally would be the bane of the MC, and how I thought Sebastian ultimately had very little redeeming about him and how vaguely annoyed I ended up with him -- interesting because he wasn't completely and immediately discernible as a ...more

Good story, but it left me hating the love interest a bit too much. He's a bit less of a complete dick in the sequel, though.
