"Wow. I'm impressed. Seriously." Ryan stared at him in amazement. "Wow." A brief moment passed and he shook his head slowly. "Some day I'll be able to think of something more clever than that to say, but at the moment I'm freakin' floored.¡±"
That quote pretty much sums up how I'm feeling right now.
Before I began this book, I didn't really know what to expect, but everyone seemed to love it so I thought that I should give it a try.

I can't believe I never said anything about the name before because it still kind of bothers me a bit (as in, I'd like to see what others think/have others weigh in and ^ seemed like an okay-ish lead-in, if a bit melodramatic)
Anyways, Hsin's name:
Hsin's name was always weird for me. He speaks Mandarin, was probs born within the past 50 years, and his name is spelled with Wade-Giles? (Ignoring that he speaks Mandarin but was from Hong Kong; that was ret-conned to make sense-ish). On top of that, ...more

I really wasn't expecting this to be as AMAZING as I found it to be. I read it right after reading some reviews and synopsis and had come with my own expectations. The last time I felt something like that, Special Forces happened. So yeah..

This one was headed for 4.5 to 5 stars, until about 3/4 of the way through, when it started to drag quite a bit with way too many descriptions and introspection. Even in the middle of action scenes....
