Adelina Pizzinga I have read Where the Crawdad’s Sing and watched the movie I’m thinking of rereading the book it was that good.

Kaylee🧿 I have read Where the Crawdads Sing and Once Upon A River and loved both! I wouldn’t mind reading Lessons in Chemistry as well. 😌

Brittany I’m actually currently reading where the crawdads sing.

Robin (Saturndoo) I've read Where the Crawdad's Sing and watched the movie and I wasn't impressed with either. A recycled story--not very original. I'm also not a fan of the shift of narration to the sheriff.

Not sure I'm overly excited about any of the other choices🤔

Pia Parekh I've read Where The Crawdads sing multiple times, it was genuinely one of the best books I'd ever read. Not a huge fan of the movie- there was so much potential and already a big fan base, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I have really been looking forward to reading Lessons In Chemistry because it has two things I love- feminism and chemistry. It would be great if it could be next year's book!

Marie (UK) I have read them all but keep meaning to re read "the Secret History"

message 7: by Carol (new)

Carol Where the Crawdads Sing is a favorite! I’m not great about reading a book twice but highly recommend for others!

Carol Same comment about Once Upon a River - also a great read.

message 9: by Dorothy (new)

Dorothy I've just ordered 'Lessons in Chemistry ' from the library so I guess I will vote for that!

Svetlana This pool has so many books I want to read. I hope the books which were not chosen for April will be in the future pools.
And, so good that your pool’s always have mix of new and past releases, so we all can catch up;)
