I’ve seen a lot of people posting polls lately to grow their ŷ circles, and honestly, I love it. But I also wanted to take a moment to share my experience behind why I’m posting this one.
As an introvert, putting myself out there has been extremely hard. Every review or poll I post feels like a small step out of my shell—but sometimes, it’s still difficult. I know so many of you fellow introverted book lovers can relate to that.
Right now, I’ve connected with over 300 ŷ friends, and I’d love to keep growing this little book-loving circle. I hope this doesn’t sound too corny, but it would mean so much if you sent me a friend request and invited your friends to vote as well.

I definitely can relate to this as an introvert who wants to get more book friends on here but is too shy to make the first move most of the time 😭

I also have this problem and finally started getting into the rhythm of ŷ, and I’m so happy I did because I met so many new people and got so many nice, new books to read! Feel free to friend me if you want!

as someone who is mixed introvert/extrovert i absolutely understand this! being on the spectrum is also another battle� at times it is hard for me to connect and/or read the room, so many times i’m taking a step back and over analyzing even though this is just goodreads! wishing you so many new friends and connections, as bookish buddies are the best buddies 💕🫶🏾 shooting you a friend request and i’m open to new friends from anyone on this thread as well!
