“હુ�� તમને મહાનતાનો એક રસ્ત�� બતાવું છુ��. તમ�� સપના�� જુ��. મોટા સપના�� જુ��. પછી બસ મુઠી વાળીને તે સપના�� પાછળ ભાગવાનું ચાલુ કરી દો. તમ�� નિષ્ફળ થશ��. રડવા લાગશ��. પડી જશ��. કંટાળી જશ��. �� હકીકત છે, અન�� હુ�� તમને બીજી એક કડવી હકીકત કહું છુ��- તમ�� અંધકારમા�� ફસાઈ ગય�� છો, અન�� ઈચ્છ�� છો કે તમને કો�� આંગળી પકડીને લઇ જા��? ના. કોઈન�� પડી નથી તમ�� કેટલ�� ગાંડ�� છો, ભાંગી ગય�� છો, તમને દુઃખ છે. ના. કોઈન�� તમાર�� દુઃખને માટે પોતાની સારી-સારી ક્ષણોન�� બગાડવાનો શો�� નથી. એટલે હવ�� પડ્ય�� પછી તમાર�� પ્રોબ્લે�� સંભળાવવાનુ�� બં�� કર��. એક પણ એક્સક્યુ�� નહી. અંધારામા�� ઉભેલ�� માણસ હંમેશા મજબુરી ભરી વાતો કર�� છે, અન�� બહાન�� બતાવ્ય�� કર�� છે. હુ�� કહું છુ��- છોડો �� વાતો. ઉભ�� થા��. મે�� જોયુ�� છે- કુતરાઓને પણ જયાર�� ખરજવું થા��, મરવા પડ્ય�� હો��, તો પણ છેલ્લા શ્વા�� સુધી, બહાર લબડતી જી�� સુકા�� જા�� ત્યા�� સુધી, આંખો બં�� થા�� ત્યા�� સુધી દોડત�� રહ�� છે. તમને કે�� બહાન�� કાઢીને બેસી ગય�� છો? હુ�� છાતી ઠોકીને કહું છુ�� દોસ્��...જ્યારે લાઈફ તમને કિ�� મારે છે, તમ�� રડવા લાગો છો, અન�� તમ�� પડી જા�� છો ત્યારે દુનિયાનો કો�� પણ માણસ રેફરી બનીને તમાર�� માટે પરિસ્થિતિન�� રે��-કાર્�� બતાવવા નહ�� આવ��. તમને સાંત્વના દેવા બીજા ખેલાડી�� આવશે, પરંત�� તમાર�� જાતે �� આંસુ લુંછીને રમતમાં ઉભું થવું પડશે.
મહાનતા જેવુ�� કઈ હોતુ�� �� નથી, અન�� જો હો�� તો લોહી વાળા હાથે આંસુ લુંછીને મેદાનમાં ઉભ�� થનાર�� મહાન બંને છે. ઉભ�� થઈને દુઃખાવ�� સહ�� કરીને દોડનાર�� મહાન બંને છે. દોડીને પોતાના લક્ષ્ય તર��, ગો�� મારવ�� માટે પોતાના હાડક�� ખરી જા�� ત્યા�� સુધીની હિંમ�� લઈને ભાગનાર�� મહાન બંને છે. પોતાના શરીરમાં થત�� દુખાવાની ફરિયાદ કર્ય�� વિના ફરી-ફરીને ઉભ�� થનાર�� મહાન બંને છે. જો �� મહાનતાના ગો��-પોસ્�� સુધી પહોંચવું હો�� તો વારંવા�� દોડવું પડ�� છે. અન�� �� બધું છતાં ઘણીવા�� તમ�� �� ગો�� મારી શકતા નથી. સફળતાની એક ક્ષણ માટે હજાર�� વા�� નિષ્ફળ થવું પડ�� છે. નિષ્ફળ થઈને મેદા�� બહાર ગય�� પછી દિમાગની નસોન�� કસી-કસીને શીખવવુ�� પડ�� છે. છાતીમા�� નવ�� લાવા શોધવ�� પડ�� છે. ફરીવા�� વધ�� જુસ્સા-જનુન અન�� નવી સમ�� સાથે મેદાનમાં ઉતરવું પડ�� છે. ફરીથી દોડવું પડ�� છે. એકપણ ફરિયાદ વિના. બધી�� બાહોશી સાથે. બધ�� દા��-પે�� લગાવીને. જરૂર પડ�� તો રસ્તામાં આવનારન�� ધક્ક�� મારીને. છેવટ�� �� ગો��-પોસ્�� સુધી પહોંચવાનું જક્કીપણું જીતી જા�� છે. અન�� �� ગો�� થઇ જા�� છે. પછી જીવન નામન�� મેદાનમાં ટી-શર્ટ કાઢીને નાચવાનું મન થા�� છે! રાડો નાખી-નાખીને પોતાની સફળત�� દુનિયાને- પ્રેક્ષકોન�� કહેવાનું મન થા�� છે. લોકો તમને ઉત્સાહ-પ્રે��-જુસ્સો આપ�� છે. �� સમયે એક પણ આંસુ, દુઃખતુ�� શરી��, તૂટેલા હાડક�� ...કો�� દુઃખાવ�� મહેસુસ થત�� �� નથી. સ્થિ�� માણસ નહી, હંમેશા દોડનાર�� જીતી જા�� છે. મહાન બંને છે.
હુ�� ફરી કહું છુ��. �� એક ક્ષણ માટે હજાર�� વા�� હારવું પડ�� છે. મંજુ�� છે? હજાર�� એવી �� નિષ્ફળતા ભોગવવી પડશે. હારવું પડશે. મંજુ�� છે? એક સમયે તમારી પી�� પર હા�� મુકનાર��, તમને સલામ કરનારા જરૂર દેખાશે. કો�� નહી તો તમારું હૃદય જરૂર તમને ખુ�� કરી દેશે.”
