We DID get to see Kyoko having fun at what looks like a Disneyland parody, and getting to meet a real princess though, and also got to meet a new family member of a certain someone, but that's about it? 8'D

Started off really great, with Kyouka's first mission for the detective agency, and a run-in with a member of the mafia that had some history with her, but the rest for me felt a bit lacklustre. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of the guild so far? They don't seem near as fleshed out as the detectives or mafia, so I'm hoping they either get better or get gone soon 8'D
Meh. Things might get better in the next volume; there was a decent amount of set-up in this one after all.

In comparison to the previous two volumes... this one honestly left me a little disappointed. It started off super well with the "force Deku to accept help" battle, the incredible character growth of Kacchan, and the overview/realisations of the hero society structure and all that... but by the end I felt it was falling a bit flat, and so far I'm not convinced with this whole Stars and Stripes coming to the rescue... More Deku and 1A, and less introducing new characters I couldn't care less about at this late stage, please!

In this one we have the resurgence of an old "friend" of Deku's, the reveal of the identities of some past OFA users, an intense mid-air combat between Deku and a Hero-turned-bad, and the slight unravelling of Deku under the pressure (and severe lack of any kind of rest).
Was definitely getting very worried about Deku in this, but with the ending to this volume going how it went.... I think there's definitely still some hope for my favourite cinnamon roll.

In this volume we have the continuation of the demon lord summit (so-to-speak) at Walpurgis, the battle between Clayman's, Milim's, and Rimuru's followers, and the infiltration of Clayman's realm to try save Milim from whatever it is that has happened with her.
Overall, I really enjoyed this! It was great to see how far Rimuru's people have come, and strong each of them has become since the first volume. Shuna in particular to me seemed to be a real gem; still just as poised and graceful as she has always been, but with a true strength to her.
I'm very much looking forward to Clayman being utterly destroyed in the volumes to come though, providing everything goes well.

We have our first glimpses of the different Demon Lords as Rimuru attends Walpurgis, and whilst that's happening we have the attack on Clayman's forces, as Rimuru's people aim to find out what happened with Carrion, and stop the remainder of Clayman's plots before he gets what it is he was after.
You also get a pouting Veldora who really wants to destroy things but is instead having to take care of others instead. Poor kiddo :P
