The book was soooooooooo good, the writing style was easy to follow and the pacing was perfect, there was a point in the book where i wished it would move faster but never the less it was good. The writer made sure to make Jude a human being, one with flaws and doubts which made her seem more real to me. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a a nice mystery thriller....more

I really loved the characters and how their personalities and little traits were unfolded, it was easy to connect with them even though knowing that these horrors were true in real life. hopefully this is not the last book in the series and that there would be more of the white haired detective ^^ ...more

Oh god I am so glad that I have given the author a second chance after reading "The sorcery of thorns" as I wasn't that into the story as I felt it waOh god I am so glad that I have given the author a second chance after reading "The sorcery of thorns" as I wasn't that into the story as I felt it was a bit weak, but my god this Novel is on another level, Isabel's character was that of a strong confident woman who uses her craft and wits to get what she wants and to protect what she loves.. the story stayed strong till the end when an EPIC ending... I found myself just listening non stop to it and was a bit sad that it ended.... looking forward to seeing more of the author's work and highly recommend this novel....more
