I enjoyed the travelling bits from our world into faery and back again. I loved that every book was based in another country and that our main characters meet different characters from all over the world.

In this story we get to meet Emily's niece Ariadne and Rose who is another Professor in their Cambridge University studying Fairies and the Fairy realm.
What a great performance by both narrators especially the female one. I also enjoyed the scenes of nature of the ice and snow where Emily and Wendell do their Fairy research - and make new friends. I'm glad the romance didn't take over the storyline (as it does with many other books) as I personally like only a bit of romance in stories. ...more

I loved the mentioning of spirits and how Yumeko can see the spirits. I loved that our main character Yumeko is a kitsune! I love the legendary creature.
I personally liked that this got a journey/adventure set into the story and how we meet all kinds of spirits, creatures and other characters along the way - the best kind of stories!...more
