SUMMARY: Buzzy won't do what his parents tell him to so he is sent to his room for a time-out.
REVIEW: Very simple story about Buzzy (a donkey) that has an "I-don't-want-to-do-it" mood and is sent to his room for a time-out. So he decides to play "time-out" with his toys until it is time for bed and he seems to be over his mood and gets ready for bed. OK storyline, but not much there, which might be just enough for a very young reader to enjoy.
FORMAT: Very strong pages that would be good for young readers to handle themselves without tearing. Illustrations are very colorful with very bold black lines that appeal to younger readers....more

SUMMARY: ...the riotous story of a cat gone berserk -- four times over and in alphabetical order each time. Kitty is not happy when she's told that her favorite foods are all gone and all that's left are Asparagus, Beets, Cauliflower, Dill...and 22 other equally unappealing vegetables. So she: Ate my homework, Bit grandma, Clawed the curtains, Damaged the dishes, and so on, through Z. Only when tastier things arrive: An Assortment of Anchovies, Buffalo Burritos, Chicken Cheesecake...does kitty: Apologize to Grandma, Bought Me New Toys...(from Amazon.com)
REVIEW: Not your normal alphabet book because there are four sequences of alphabets for bad food, bad behavior, good food, and good behavior...but wait, there is a fifth alphabet on the endpages that describe what Bad Kitty did to my brand new book. Story is a little long but moves rapidly through events with great illustrations. Highly recommended picture book.
NOTE: This has become one of my new favorites.
NOTE: Cat-Nipped Edition has two kitty bitemarks in the book from cover to cover. Very creative....more
