Beautifully Emotional and Self-affirming!
I loved this story for so many reasons, but the biggest one has to be the fact that Onyx's place in the world is affirmed throughout this story. Being a beta, she's been told her entire life that she's worthless and unlovable because beta's are stuck in the middle. They aren't omegas, they aren't useful and coveted, and they aren't alphas, strong and proud. She's stuck in the belief that she's this nobody who needs to get her omega twin a pack to be worth something. She doesn't even belief she will have a pack, and that's heartbreaking.
But this story shows her that all her beliefs and all she's been told are wrong, she's worth more than she knows, and her worth is NOT in her designation. It's a beautiful story that affirms your self-worth and reminds you that who you are is not found in your title, job, designation, birth, race, or anything else. It's in you, your personality, your effort, the way you treat those you love.

Even though this turned out to be the shortest book in the series, I think it may be one of my favorites. I really pushed myself with the emotional pain and growth in this story, and I'm very excited at how this series is going.
