So when there was more than one main character in this, I started to get a bit confused. Especially when it started jumping from one perspective to another. Which only made me lose sight of the plot a couple dozen times in the progress of things.

This plot has more frustration and anguish in it the most do. Which just makes the plot somewhat bearable. The anguish sort of takes away all of the unnecessary stuff that we had to read throughout the earlier novels. Making it at least more bearable for us. However, this doesn't change my recommendation at all. Because I highly recommend that you don't even bother picking up this novel. Or searching for this series either. It's all just a big waste of time and I'm not even sure why I wasted mine by reading them.

While it seems like there's supposed to be romance in this novel, the plot seems to think differently. The plot kind of takes a turn for the worst and it doesn't turn out very well. The plot started to go downhill pretty quickly, but a twist does help to save it sometimes. There are actually a few twists in this novel, and they each have an important role to play. They keep the reader interested, when all you want to do is put the novel down. So my recommendation is quite simple. This novel isn't really worth the read. It's kind of boring and not a very entertaining one at all. Overall, they are better novels out there that really deserve the attention more than this one.

This novella would be found in the urban fantasy section. It's got vampires, valkyerie, fighting, drama, and romance all within it. It's one of those novellas that has a lot to offer, but that just takes time first. It's a type of novella that keeps you begging for more. Even when it's got nothing left to offer. Making it all that for fantasy lovers, who are also going to want to get behind it. So my recommendation for the novella is a fairly easy one to make. This is a novella that all urban fantasy lovers are going to enjoy. It's a great start to the series and it's most definitely a must-read.

In this novella one of the best characters is Lyra a young woman raised around nothing but men. Because of this she's very spunky, but in her defense her whole family is as well. She prides herself on being true to herself and doing what she believes is right. Most of the time she succeeds in this, but every once in a while she doesn't. Especially when it comes to her neighbor Tarek. Tarek is just one of the Breeds many enforcers that Sanctuary has. Right now all Tarek wants to do is live in a house that is all his own and to continue watching the woman next door. He's very easy going when he wants to be, but can be more mischief at times than anything else. One of his favorite things to do is mess with Lyra's prize rose bushes. He loves to see her reaction to it and thinks that it's even cute. However, he doesn't think its cute when someone tries to break into her house and harm her. Tarek takes this very seriously and now its time for him to do something about it. Because he believes that Lyra is the one for him, and nobody can hurt what is his and get away with it. To do this though he's going to have to convince her that she needs to be around him. Even when she may not want to be anywhere near him. This has got to be one of the best novellas that Lora Leigh has written by far. The characters blended together so well that it made it quite enjoyable to read. It wasn't a sappy romance novel with a boring plot either. I actually wanted to read it and see what was in store for the characters too. It was exciting, charming, and witty all at once, which is pretty hard for a novella to do. Especially one as short as this one. Heck, even the sub characters were as great as the main ones. Especially those brothers of Lyra's. They brought their own humor to this novella and it went together perfectly. Overall, I was very impressed by how much I enjoyed this novella. It was one of the best that I've read so far and I highly recommend that you read it too.
