The book is divided into two parts: the first part is a narration by Mahadevi herself, who takes us through the creation of the universe, the wars of the gods, the love and pain of the divine beings, and the role of the nine forms of Mahadevi in the cosmic order. The first part describes about 9 different forms of Durga which are Kushmanda, Bhuvaneshwari, Saraswati, Shivaangi, Mahamaya, Sati, Bhagwati, Uma and Ambika. Priyanka describes about the beginnings, wars etc and stories related to these deities in a classic way. The second part is a collection of nine stories that depict the qualities of Mahadevi in the everyday women of the Kali Yuga, the present age of darkness and ignorance. This book is my discovery in to human emotions, feelings that were left unsaid. Things that you wanted to tell but stopped your self because of being judged. If you have ever felt that, then you have a listener in me. Who is just putting every thing you ever thought of on paper.



These are poetic emotions I went through personally, some are an imagination, some were nightmares and I left few things to fantasy. A grain of salt may just not be enough for this journey. I promise you a roller coaster ride into happiness, sadness, love, pain, suffering, silence and a lot more with these twisted tales.
