Not many people can say they have experienced even half as much as she has in their entire life. However, I really struggled with the personality of the author (in particular the choices she makes and how she deals with them and the pain she causes people knowingly) which made some of personal life parts of the book drag on. This book was just too slow for me. Great beginning and the plot picks up towards the end, but a lot of the middle part could have been eliminated in my opinion.
