I loved, loved, loved the author's style of writing. So much so that I was envious through quite a bit of it. She has a way of describing the minute details and quirks of a person without it being boring. The details that a lover would notice. I felt like I knew Bree and Declan. Especially, Declan! The author did a wonderful job of building a wonderfully likable hero. And I was hooked and drawn into their story and I was rooting for them the whole time. And the chemistry between them is fire!!! This series was phenomenal! It was well written and reminded me vaguely of the Thoughtless series...only better! Nic and Gabe felt real to me. Real people with real issues and flaws, but not so much that it was annoying. It had the right amount of drama. The author did a wonderful job in even giving the main villain a heart. Showing that even seemingly, cruel people have a reason for their madness. And let's not even talk about the sex scenes. Holy Hotness! Such a Tease!!! I loved this book! I really enjoy Xio's writing style and the story was well written. Though I was waiting with bated breath for Val and Sam to finally get together. You're so cruel to tease me like that, Ms. Axelrod!!! Of course, this story hits a soft spot for me because of the parallel to the show Scandal. I have often analyzed Kerry and Tony's body language and interaction during interviews, wondering if the off-the-charts chemistry they have on camera crosses over to the real world. So Falling Stars was right up my alley. I can't wait to get into the sequel. Great job again, Xio!

Mind...BLOWN!!! I can't even begin to explain how much I love this book! Miss Sheridan pulled me in from page one, and it was such a subtle thing, the way she went about it. She gave away a little nugget at a time, leading you further down the rabbit hole, into the world of Bree and Archer. I am so enamored with Archer, it isn't even funny. You do just want to rock him in your arms and then lick him. Ha! And boy oh boy, that ending!!! I was shocked, my mouth hanging open in horror. This story was superbly written! I know some people may not be fond of stories about infidelity, but the world is full of it. I felt it was very real. I loved how the author didn't rush into making the reader hate Niklas to justify why Laney cheated on him. It was very gradual the way we learned how the love just wasn't there. In many ways, I wanted to punch Niklas in the face for being such a jerk, but at the same time, I felt bad for him. I wished that she would've delved a little bit deeper into Mads' character, but I'm assuming that since there are two more books, we'll get to learn more about him. And I can't wait! Though, what I did get from him, is that he is ahhhhhmazing! So sweet and loving. All in all, I loved this story. Kim Golden illustrated the complexities of adultery and the ending of a relationship perfectly. Love and it's ending, isn't a one-dimensional thing and she wrote it beautifully.

I adored this novel. It was my first time reading a Kat Crimson novel and it didn't fail to disappoint my heat thermometer! It was erotic, sweet and intriguing. I loved how the story started off with a taste of the main character's writing and inner desires, which connected wonderfully in the middle of the story. I loved Joss. She was innocent, shy, and feisty, which is a very dynamic combination. And Ryan was smoking hot! He's the dream...dominate, honest, romantic and wears his heart on his sleeve.

All in all, it was the ultimate fantasy for any woman in tune with her sensuality.
