As always I love Sarah M Cradit and her stories. This is the second part of Midnight Dynasty, and more of the story comes to light. You're in for a few shocks. There are a few characters I would love to shake some sense into, but that's what makes me love the story. The characters are real, and react to things in ways you can see.

Zenko was a great story. I loved Blaze, Patrick, Ava and Miyako.
One family dealt with great prejudiced, another had someone trying to forcefeed them prejudice beliefs.
I loved seeing the two families come together.
The love stories were sweet.

This book is a great continuation of the series. There were characters to love and characters to hate, and new characters to intrigue us. I didn't get all the answers I wanted as this focused on more characters not previously in the spotlight, and brought us up to speed on a few other things. As I'm not big on spoilers i will say you don't want to miss this one, but I can hardly wait for the next.

I enjoyed this story. It was quick, and draws you in. I wanted to know more about Payton and why she was so closed off. By the end you understand why she had trouble letting Garrett in. Garrett had to work to prove to her he was there for her, regardless of her past, but considering their beginning he has his work cut out for him. After the way Crashing Back Down ended I'm glad I had both books.
This was the perfect conclusion to the Mags and Walker's story.
No, it wasn't easy. They both had a ton of stuff they had to deal with.
Mags was is still grieving, only now it's not just the loss of her husband, but the man she was falling for.
They all have their own share of guilt to work through.
Then you have Mitch and Cali who are going through hell.
It's not an easy road, but definitely worth traveling because it's a good story

I'm a big fan of the House of Crimson and Clover series that Sarah has written. The short brought us a new twist, and I no longer hate Anne. In fact, I'm kind of hoping she will get her own full length book sooner or later because she has become a very intriguing character.

Finally, Torin's book. I wasn't sure what to think when the girl showed up in his room at the end of the last book. Talk about a journey. The poor girl. Then to be stuck with an infuriatingly stubborn woman, who turned out to be a perfect match. Keeley was fun, though exasperating at times. Caleb and Angie get off to a rocky start. He can't forget his demons that are still haunting him, and Angie has a painful past. Neither of them can resist their attraction, though Caleb certainly tries.
Yeah, Caleb was a jerk in the beginning, trying to protect himself and Angie. Once she gets under his skin, he only wants to protect her.
Angie is sweet, and willing to forgive. She's been through hell but like she keeps saying, Bad things happen to good people.
It was a great story and you should definitely read it.
