There were a few quirks about Holt's writing style that eventually got to me, such as her penchant for one ominous sentence at the end of a chapter, but overall I really enjoyed the story. I thought she packed quite a bit of discussion-worthy material into a "simple" mystery. And I didn't guess who the killer was 20 pages into the book. Always a plus.
