I'm actually mostly crocheting right now.
A pink bag for my 7 year old and a royal blue doily that is taking forever because it actually requires concentration!

Gaijinmama Hey, yo! Something else we have in common, Lydia.

I knit, crochet, and do hand embroidery.
I mostly taught myself because no one else in my family did any of that.
I'm a yarn and thread addict, since I was 8 or 9. Back in school, I was crocheting doilies when the other kids were going out for cheerleaders, LOL.
Now it's cool to be crafty but back in the 80's it was weird for a kid to be into it.
