Victoria Ivory Pearl is a delightful morality tale about sharing and the true value of friendship. What sets this book apart from many others is that it is a story devised by the children themselves and is full of bright and detailed pictures. These are well drawn and often quite amusing, like the supremely happy teddy sitting in his castle.
The book could do with a very light edit to clean up tenses and grammar slightly, but is a quick read and is just the right length to make a great bedtime story. One I'm sure your child will ask for again and again.
