Soo,first things first, this book was better than Blood Promise,thank God for that.Unlike Blood Promise, Spirit Bound was filled with a lot of action and there was always something happening.Also I like that the series has had a point from the beginning,you can see the story going somewhere. I'm also happy that it had twists that I didn't see coming,like what happened with Tatiana, even though other things were totally predictable like what happened with Dimitri and Lissa's father.

So that were the positive aspects,now lets move on to my rant. In the beginning of this series I was ecstatic that i finally found a book whose characters I respected and liked,and who didn't annoy me.Well that was like two books ago. Now Rose is a stupid (of course the Victor prison break with backfire you idiot) selfish blood-whore(yeah I though the whole Adrian-Rose not-sex scene was wrong,meant only to provide some king of alibi for her),that is still obsessed with Dimitri.

Don't even get me started on him. I never really connected to him, and I never liked the Dimitri/Rose relationship.Now I don't just not like it, now I'm f**king sick of it and hope they both die.The only time I liked Dimitri was when he turned evil, but then it turned out he was even more annoying when he was evil. So while in the beginning he was a cardboard cutout of a character,now he is a depressed emo cardboard cutout, at least the told Rose to get lost,that's gotta count for something. On one thing I do agree with Dimitri though, Adrian's a better person than he gets credit for , and he is one of my favorite characters, which is exactly why Rose the gold-digger doesn't deserve him. Like I said before she should go with Dimitri and both of them should die.

Despite my rant there were characters I liked - like Lissa and Christian.I liked that from book one it was only Lissa and Christian and that they weren't involved in any love triangles, because if that happened I would have stopped reading these books. Finally they are back together. I also liked that other awesome characters were back like Mia,Tasha and Eddie.

In the end, even though I liked this one better than Blood Promise and I will read Last Sacrifice, this series has already lost my respect. These were great by book three, but after that they were ruined, because one of the best things about them was ruined - the great characters.

PS.I know this is totally irrelevant but am I the only one who thinks of Inception when Adrian talks about dreams?
