There was one continuous theme that really didn't sit well with me while reading this (use of a homophobic slur) and it's part of the reason why I didn't give this a higher rating. Also some parts dragged and made the pacing weird.
The reason I didn't give this a lower rating is because I still had a fun time reading this - and Jeremy. I'm very conflicted on recommending this because obviously the slurs bothered me. Read at your own risk, I guess.

Yeah the repetative and dated use of slurs from our heroes knocked a star off for me too.
