Quite an entertaining international supernatural action thriller. Writing can occasionally be a little clunky (but that be down to translation) and I found the central conceit that drives the plot a bit unwieldy, it’s difficult to keep track of the rules of how the special abilities of the people are supposed to work at times. It’s still very readable & it’s plotted well enough to engage right to the end. I still prefer Heitz� high fantasy material though I wouldn’t consider this a failure by any stretch.
