When I saw this book in the ŷ weekly news, I didn’t read the summary and put it on hold as soon as possible. It wasn’t the cover that hook me... it just that I have this urged to read it and I been seeing it in every store before. Haha, well look it here, my instinct is amazing... the book is AMAZING!
Cinder is a cyborg and is one of the best mechanical in New Beijing. She was felt an attractive toward Prince Kai. Live under rule with her “stepmother and “stepsister she would never want to go to the ball. When her younger stepsister were infected by a plague, Cinder’s stepmother blame and sent her to a plague research. Cinder is a special case and the researcher would never destroy her. Cinder is about to find out why and discover her new identity that she wish she would forget. Sadly, when Kai’s father died, Queen Levana came to his country and tries to pursue Kai with her magic, to marry her. Queen Levana is a Lunar and a bad new to them. And why the hell does the Queen want Cinder dead? Cinder knows that her love for Prince Kai isn’t the reason. But if Kai don’t marry the queen, there would be war. Cinder is about to find out the most dreadful plot the Queen is about to set. So dreadful that Cinder have no choice but to go to the ball to warned Kai, even if she have to tell him the truth; not only a cyborg, but something horrible that could make Kai stop loving her...forever.
This is a Cinderella story with ALOTS of twist in it. I am in love with the story. At first when I find out that they have Chinese character, I thought it was going to very traditional and I hate it....no offense. But I’m glad it not and it was very modern. Everything about it was just.... PERFECT!!!! I never stop reading it and I’m dying to wait for the second one. The story end really well with a twist that just left you thinking “OH NO!!! WHAT GOING TO HAPPENS??!! I love the character that Cinder is: strong and full of heart even if she part machine. Kai is such a cutie and I wish I marry him myself (even tho I would never go out with Asian, Kai’s exceptional). LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
