it was amazing

Hilarious! I chuckled throughout! The author employed humor skillfully, often at his own expense. Such a funny tale of the author's 2 week trip with 2 of his college buddies and his dog up the river Thames, and the difficulties and fun they experience.

“I can't sit still and see another man slaving and working. I want to get up and superintend, and walk round with my hands in my pockets, and tell him what to do. It is my energetic nature. I can't help it.”

Larry Landau If I had the time, I'd read it. Sounds interesting, and I've been to London a few times... might recognize some place names. But I'm busy trying to finish the follow up to GHISLAIN AND TRAHEAERN. Coming in June!

Stacy Good luck with the follow up to your book! Maybe someday you will be able to add this to your "read" pile. : )

Larry Landau I will. Took a river cruise on the Thames in 2006 with my wife. We got on at Westminster Pier, and the open topped boat went by the interesting landmarks that are on the river. Such places as Shakespeare's 'Globe' Theatre, the Tower of London, The Savoy, etc...
So much history on display!

Stacy That would be a fascinating cruise... to actually look at the places featured in so much history and the setting for so many books!
