it was amazing

I wanted this one to be just as good as the first, and it was!
Lieutenant Eve Dallas is after a serial killer again. This time the madman is targeting powerful women, and Eve decides to make herself a target.

Although these books focus a lot on Eve's detective work, they definitely don't lack in the romance department. Roarke and Eve are getting closer, but she still isn't able to give herself completely to him. And Roarke is NOT ok with that. He finally tells her he wants all or nothing, then walks away completely. I can't say more without giving too much away, but trust me when I say that the tension between these two when they are fighting is just as HOT as when they're aren't! I found Roarke to be even more sizzling in this book than he was in the first, which is hard to imagine.

I just ordered 3 more from this series and I'm hoping they just get better and better!

Mrs. Badass They do keep getting better and better. Learning about Eve and Roarke was/is so fascinating. Their relationship really amazes me.
