Sea Swept (Chesapeake Bay Saga, #1)

Usually when you read "chic lit" or "women's fiction", you know you'll be reading a book about a woman and her relationship with everyone around her with a bit of romance thrown in. The book usually shows how she grows, changes and learns to cope. This book is like that except that at the center is a man. I loved how the book focuses on the Quinns. The romance sometimes takes a backseat to Cam's personal and emotional growth, but that was fine with me. Anna, the heroine, was harder to warm up to. Mainly because she's a social worker who wants to be taken seriously but then gets in bed with Cam, while she's working on his case. She's mixing business with pleasure and I thought it was very unprofessional of her. I didn't agree with how she reacted and behaved at the ending of the book but was really glad that Cam called her on it. I'm definitely readding the next book.
