This is not a book I would have chosen for myself. It was for my in-person book club, so I felt I had to read it...sigh!

The basis of the book is about a green notebook. An elderly gentleman writes this 'truth' in the book and then leaves it in a coffee shop. The coffee shop owner finds it, writes her 'truth' in it and leaves it in a bar. And so the story goes. Then finally they all meet up and begin to realize that every one of them has read each others 'truths'. In turn they begin to protect each other - such as the one that reminds an alcoholic who orders a drink that that might not be a good idea. Friendships are blazed.

A feel good story for when you need one. Not bad for a first novel.
