it was amazing
bookshelves: japan, dragons, courage, sacrifice, sisters, family, romance, adventure

McGinty is my go-to favorite for rich, nuanced Japanese lore with tremendous heart and sweeping storylines! She has once again penned a gorgeous, epic tale of triumphing love and adventure. Meera, the story's MC, paints a powerful image of fearless determination as she journeys to save her sister at all costs. From danger to danger, her path is both jarring and inspiring as she faces down dragons, an unforgiving sea, a fast-spreading curse, and unexpected alliances. Highly recommend!
