bookshelves: irish, saga, historical-fiction

I have never read an Irish Historical drama before this, but I am going to enjoy this series. It is long and wordy, but never a wasted moment. Feron's descriptions fill my mind and when I'm finished (the books are very long, which I like), I feel like I watched a BBC-produced mini series. It is joyful, tragic, and inspiring all at once. Look inside and see if you'd like to cross from Ireland to America with the Phalens.
