I came for “Without You�� and stayed for the rest of them.

In The Language of Fear, Del James explores the very worst of humanity. This book is grungy and disgusting, horrifying and tragic and so cerebral.

There were two stories that included harm to animals and I had to skip those but if you can stomach body horror, the dark and the depraved, I will recommend this book 100% of the time. These are NOT feel good stories but man, there is something so sublimely beautiful about James’s work.
