Spoilers Ahead!!

So I bought this book because of a reel I saw on Instagram (never trusting that option again). I had HIGH hopes for this book, like I expected it to be a 5-star read. From the beginning it was so boring, I kept expecting it to get better as I kept reading but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations :(

Delving deeper into the book :
The story goes back and forth between the past and present, but why is it from 300 years ago? I expected maybe there was some plot to it, but it was only there so readers knew that Addie met Luc every year on a specific date. The plot was way too slow. The only reason I didn't rate it 2 stars was because the ending was quite sad. It was smart as to how Henry remembered Addie and all, but it was sad to see how he had to remember her but never got to see her ever again 😭
