Gobbled up this propulsive and psychologically pitch-perfect book in a day, and have been thinking about it ever since. Definite gothic/ Wuthering Heights vibes - tightly and skillfully plotted, but best of all, the characters felt real- with moments of sly humor too. Strong recommend.
