I can't help feeling that aside from being below poverty level with an abusive home life, I could have been Eleanor. She'd only have been a year younger than me and I was definitely a misfit, but I didn't have a Park in High School. I was very much drawn to both characters so I was drawn into the book. A very fast read for me, one day. I am enjoying YA more and more. I was touched by this story and think I will remember it for a long time. As is becoming quite the norm with books now a days, the unintentional grammatical errors were annoying.
