it was amazing

I loved this book! It's a sensitive look at the aftermath of 9/11--a subject which I suspect will be heavily addressed in the literature of the future. In a story that's funny and touching and at times gives us "heavy boots," Foer helps us to ponder what it means to live.

Alison That was some quick reading! Although it does read rather quickly. The pictures take up a lot of pages!

Robbie Bashore Yes, they do! I liked the visual aids. I saw a review where someone was very critical of them. My niece says they're making a movie from the book, which I think will have to be quite different.

Alison I like the visuals too. I saw something about the movie...Sandra Bullock and a lot of big names.

Robbie Bashore Tom Hanks is who my niece mentioned.
