** spoiler alert ** Bowen created characters that you just fall in love with Rowan (I love that name) is an architect but most importantly a mom who has a teenage daughter and a father that was in jail for most of her childhood and resents her mom when she wants to have a relationship with him and knows her mom wouldn’t approve. And then there’s the murder of Rowan’s newly ex boyfriend who she was constantly obsessed with his whereabouts and used an app to see where he was and then stumbles on his murder which happens to be in front of her job. This book has so many twists in the story line it’s just awesome to be kept on my toes for once with a little bit of mystery here and there I loved every second of this novel it has all the great parts of a thriller but in a more with more investigative plot than anything because the main character is basically trying to prove who done it bc she herself was now a suspect for finding his body and being a recent ex doesn’t help neither. I highly recommend it’s a good read for sure!!
