Fran I actually went on here to read some reviews of I Capture the Castle to see if any were by men. LOL. Everyone I know who's read it loved it unabashedly. It is on my short list of favorite books. Everyone I know who's read it, incl everyone from my former book club, is female. The first I see by a man is yours, Elliot. Best review I've read on here in ages. Kudos. And, just so you know, my dear friend Jim, is getting I Capture the Castle on my list for him of recommended books. 👍🏼Thanks much!

Robin Wright Gunn I just followed you because of this review! I loved this book but I think I need to read The Godfather next as a palate cleanser.
